Hey everyone! So I got transferred out of Baguio finally :( Super sad to leave that area because I was there for almost 6 months. But I expected to be transferred. So now I went down to the lowlands. To Bauang which is the next zone over from my first zone in Agoo. Just north of it.  But before I left I had the chance of watching Anthony Fajardo get baptized. We had met Anthony on the street in July and he had a bunch of questions about God and Heavenly Father and after teaching him for 1 month, he came to church and accepted to be baptized. And the Sunday before I left he got baptized. It was one of the best days on my mission. Watching Anthony get up to bear his testimony that He knows that Jesus Christ lives and that God has restored his church through a prophet was the best thing in the world. Hey everyone thank you for the birthday wishes. Love u all! :)  This week was good, conference was a nice break, and nice to listen to our prophets and the other leaders of the church. There were too many good talks to talk about. The Hobbit one by Dieter was really good. The adventure has been amazing and even though there are a lot of bad days, it just makes the good days that much better. God is here to help us in everything we do.  Our investigator Anthony has his baptism on Saturday. He is super excited. It has been such a miracle that i Have been a part of his conversion and got to watch him grow. It makes everything worth it. Hello everyone, another great week.  Our investigator Anthony is doing super well. I have seen such a big change in him, it's crazy how the gospel blesses peoples lives. I just hope his family will accept it too in the future.  We had exchanges. I was with Elder Lana from Cebu. Super funny cause he never really spoke Tagalog before his mission. so he sometimes has a hard time expressing himself. He's so funny though and looks like Manny Pacquiao haha Shhh don't tell him i said that.  Can't really remember, we have been teaching a lot, its hard to find new people. I feel like I've met everyone in my area hahah. Its the worst when we approach someone, ask them if they have met missionaries before and they tell us they have and we were the ones the we met. So I hit my one year mark this week and I just wanted to give a short little email to let you all know how it was this past year of my life and how everything changed (for the better). So one year ago and I left my family, friends, everything I love back at home in the hope that I would learn and grow spiritually. And it turns out I have learned and grown so much since I left home. I have become so much closer with our Father in Heaven and I realized that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour. It kinda hurts my brain that I didn't realize until I was in the Philippines how important they are to me and the part they played in my whole life.  It's hard to explain all the things I have learned since I've been here, but I remember one day in December 2019 when I was new in the field, didn't know what I was doing, didn't know how to communicate with people there, I trusted in God to give me strength and I was filled with so much peace and love that I knew with no ...

Hey everyone, just an update for the last two week, didn't have to time to email last week :) Things are good in Baguio, work is picking up, we are finding less and teaching way more. We are teaching a couple people that are attending church with us, and then they disappear for a little while. But we have one solid guy named Anthony that is excited for his baptism. The only problem is he has to work every other Sunday. But besides that he has such a humble heart. He has been my favourite to teach in my whole mission. He understands, has questions and follows the commitments. Can't believe we just found him on the streets in August. He is super ready for the gospel.  Another blessing is the reactivation of this LA, she is super active now in church and relief society, it has been a huge reward :)  Gonna hit the 1 year mark in the 2nd area, which is fine cause I love it here. Hey everyone this week was amazing. So I'm staying in Baguio for another transfer with my trainee Elder Baylon :) This week was one of the best since I've been here and we have had tons of good experiences. Monday we went bowling then went to the hospital to give a member a blessing. I didn't even recognize the member because he had lost so much weight. I kinda hate going to the hospital here, there are so many people suffering and everything. Anyway we gave him a blessing. Turns out the next day he passed away so we held the funeral for him on Friday. I got asked to be the speaker, and it was a great opportunity to remind and explain the Plan of Salvation to those who attended. It gives us so much hope even when someone passes away. Our one investigator Anthony is progressing, probs one of the most humble people I've met here. He attended church yesterday and was welcomed by the ward. Hey everyone, this week was good! definitely seeing the blessings in the area.  We went down to the mission home in San Fernando on Thursday for Elder Baylon's 4 week follow up training. Crazy how fast time goes, felt like yesterday I went down there to pick him up. We slept at the AP's house. Always a fun time, except the bedroom with aircon was full so we got shafted that night. So hard to sleep even when you get two fans blowing on you. I guess thats what Baguio does to you. It's gonna be a struggle when I get transferred to the low lands again. So hot there. 4 week follow up training was good, we had burger kind, didn't even know they had that in the Peens. President Oldroyd is a beauty I learned tons from him. He really teaches with the spirit.  We had a ward party on Saturday, the ward is super fun. We played games and had food. We left early because we had an appointment.
