Hey everyone! This week was good, we had another good week of walking around Bauang. We have been teaching some 14 year olds that have been coming to church, sometimes they are a lot easier to teach than the older people. They understand the need for the restoration. So that has been cool, they are really shy though, the members have been helping us to help them feel more welcome.  We have found some less actives again that were offended by some members! It's pretty common here. It's sad though because I'm convinced if you have a testimony of Jesus Christ, of the Book of Mormon then no matter what anyone does or says you will still be faithful. SO it was a good opportunity to help them gain that faith back and invite them to read the Book of Mormon again. I have a really strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and it has been our main focus when teaching people.  Thinking about what I'm gonna do when I get home, even though it's kinda far away still, stressin...

Bagong Taon, Bagong Buhay

Lol, whats up everyone. This week we experienced New Years in the Philippines, which was a little crazy (as expected). We live close to the crossing road to Baguio so there was really bad traffic to get around. Fireworks going off all day, little kids making fires and lighting things off. Everyone doing Karaoke and drinking all day. Really funny. All the teenage girls here are obsessed with the Korean culture, and they all practice their dances to their songs. Its hilarious. My comp always tells them hes from Korea lol.  So New Years eve I ate Balot again at a members house during dinner. It was pretty nasty but I didn't throw up so that was good. Besides that the food here is incredible, I'm really starting to like it. Except for the snacks, all their snacks are just cheesy something or buttery something, but all fake stuff. I'm finally getting a kid (buntis na ako)

Been waiting for this day for a while, but I'm finally training! My companion Elder Harvey just got transferred to Damortis. (the mansion house) Lucky guy but not jealous of that heat. Gonna miss that man. SO I'll go down to San Fernando on Wednesday and pic up my trainee. But I'm excited, I wonder if he'll be Pinoy or American. Or maybe poly to mix it up. That would be fun. The last week was good though, we've been working hard in this area, and we have planted a lot of seeds of faith. Elder Harvey was here for 6 months and didn't see anybody get baptized but he planted so many roots of faith. The stats may not say so, but he's a successful missionary in my eyes. He works hard, helps people feel good, and tries his very best. We developed such a strong relationship, even though we argued over Canada and America hahaha.  Yeah, Baguio has been a dream, the members here are sick, I feel like we are getting closer with them, and our investigators.
