MTC Halfway (almost)

Lol, whats up everyone. This week was pretty killer and I learned a lot. It's finally warm here so we can finally study and hangout outside. I love my Baguio Boys. Elder Cooper and Elder Tomlin are the best roommates for me and Elder Jewett. We all get a long so well, and other Elders from our district complain about their companions and their rooms to us lol. Elder Tomlin from the Baguio boys is getting reassigned due to health issues, but he'll always be a Baguio boy at heart. We'll find out today where he is getting reassigned to. Elder Jewett, Elder Cooper and I could possibly be put into a trio for the rest of our time here.

So Chris Mero works in the MTC kitchen and he hooked me up with In n out on Monday night. So many elders were jealous when i was eating it was hilarious. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it though. I shared some with Elder Jewett :) Elder Soares from the Quorum of the Twelve came and spoke to us. He came to our Devotional Tuesday and it was crazy good. You can just feel his spirit when he came into the building (sounds cliche but its true). He spoke on obedience in missionary work. I've thought about what kind of missionary I want to be for the next two years and his talk really opened my eyes. There's so much that I learn that I wish I could tell haha.

I struggle to fit in language study everyday, and the other day we were doing a language test where we had to answer questions in Tagalog into a mic on the computer. I was struggling hard and then later Elder Jewett and I gave a lesson to our teacher and we straight up choked.  It got me really down and thought I didn't know anything. I then thought about what we're working on this week and that was patience. We have to be patient everyday because we're not going to be good at things we study right away. Definitely not a language we're learning. So I know it'll take time and just to try my best. I've been studying the Book Of Mormon and it gets more and more true each day, I can feel my testimony growing.

Elder Cooper and I were taking out these broken microwaves to throw out in the dumpster for our service time this week. We thought it would be fun to throw them on the ground before we put them in the dumpster. Elder Cooper threw his and its dented pretty bad. I threw mine and it landed on the glass part of it and destroyed the whole thing haha. It was fun but stupid and we cleaned up the mess. He and I have a good time together.

Overall good week, temple was really nice today because we got the cafeteria food for the first time and it's a million times better than the MTC cafeteria food. The session was good too haha.

Love you all :)
