MTC First Impressions
Hello family and friends!!
So I've been here for like 3 days but my P-day is today, and they have been really good. Missionary life is so busy it's crazy. We have like no time to chill. When Gav dropped me off I just got thrown into so many things given to me like my name tag and all the things I needed. I went up to a classroom and some girl a little older than me introduced me but was only speaking Tagalog. There was a bunch of Elders and Sisters that were in there practicing and she was trying to get me to say the stuff on the board. But later I learned some Elders in my district and my companion who is Elder Jewett. He's from Westpoint Utah and he's half Filipino. he does't know any Tagalog though haha. He's a cool guy and hardworking.

I have 4 people in my room and we're all going to Baguio. So we call ourselves the Baguio Boys. The other Elders are from Utah as well (classic) so its nice to stick out for being from somewhere else lol. There are so many Filipino Missionaries here it's crazy. I feel like there are way more than English or any other language. My whole residency came down to our room to meet us our first night and there are so many chill guys. And they're all going to the Philippines. I've had some good laughs with the Baguio boys in my room. We're all pretty different but get a long and have a lot to talk about.
I've only had a couple days here so there's not many crazy things to tell. There will be lots more to report next week.
The spirit here is so strong. I went to the Provo Temple today. its sooooo big!! they just hooxsed us clothing too so that was dope. Oh I met my zone leaders. They seem way older than us and their Tagalog was crazy good. My one zone leader seems like he's 25 and he always has this smile on his face and he's insanely happy about everything. I was cringing the whole meeting and trying not to burst into laughter. He's so nice though and just welcoming so I'm not too hard on him. . Nobody is too weird so we can talk about normal things.
I'm having a fun time here and no way I'm coming home. It's hard work but I know its best for me. The food is so average but the ice creme bars are good. The MTC is kinda of how I expected it to be. I hate how nice provo and the mountains are. I'm excited for conference and next week!!! Love you all!
