Last Week in America

Hey!! This was my last week in the Provo MTC and I head to the Philippines Monday the 12th. I fly through LAX and then its a fourteen and a half hour flight to Manila. I'm so excited to eat some food at the airport. I'm not sure what I'll do on the plane for 14 hours but Elder Cooper told me he could hook me up with one of his sleeping pills, so that sounds good to me. I'm nervous but also excited to go.

The MTC was so good to me. I was blessed with the best district and companions. It will be bittersweet to leave Monday but so excited to get the real adventure going. I know in 2 months I'm going to be sitting in the middle of the peens with my trainer and I'll be looking back at the good times in the MTC. Some of my friends have said enjoy the three meals while you can and have fun. So I was really enjoying it this week. There are always those points throughout the day when some Elders or Sisters say something and I just think to myself - "get me out of here" lol but its mostly fun. Cringy and awkward moments are the funniest.

On Monday my whole zone wanted to do Garry Hair Monday and so they all did their hair in the middle part and it was hilarious. . The zone leader told them it was distracting but they all did it anyway hahaha. All of their teachers got mad at them and told them to change their hair so we didn't end up getting a pic :( Even this Poly elder did the middle part and he has like no hair so it was just a line down his hair. So funny. It's really fun to talk to the Filipinos here, they're all super short and cute. I love them already. I always forget all my Tagalog when I talk to them sometimes though.

The Tuesday devo and district review are always the best though. So much love I can feel in the district and between my companions, makes me feel really happy. I've been trying hard to write all the things I feel and learn in my notebook. And there are way too many to type.

I'm pretty ready to go though, I can't wait to teach people and learn everything about the culture I've learned so much from my teachers about the gospel and especially during personal study. The spirit is powerful and I am able to recognize it more often. I still have so much to work on. Manila and the Baguio City here we come!! All the Filipinos here tell us how "lit" Baguio is hahaha, they say its the best mission but its cold!!

Also got my haircut this week, its so bad I look like the mid tennis ball hair just like when I buzzed it for grad. It's so bad I can't even middle part it anymore :(

Anyway, love you all!
