General Conference
I don't know what to subject these emails but yeah whats up everyone. idk who reads these. This week was fun, had a zone conference and then got to watch General Conference on Saturday and Sunday. My water situation is still a mess. Everyone lines up their buckets on one faucet in the neighbourhood we live in, the water comes on sometimes, but I feel like no one has jobs, everyone just spends all day getting water haha, feel kinda bad. They're digging a bunch of holes outside our house too. they're 16 metres deep on one and still no water. Hahaha idk who decided to build houses here but whoever they are they're kind of stupid.
General Conference was super good. President Nelson is the goat, his talk on covenants was my favourite I think, I thought it really applied to me as a missionary. Being out here I've realized what really is important. Freak I don't like being this guy but honestly the the things that are truly important are the things President Nelson was saying, love, family, faith, and making covenants (or promises) to God. Being on the mish I've taken out all those distractions and really focused on what is important in this life. It's more satisfying than anythings else. It's more precious than any other thing. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is so incredible I can't believe how much I took advantage of it. I don't know how well Im putting this but, I feel converted. And I know it's not just a one time thing we do or say that. It's doing these things and converting ourselves everyday. Repenting everyday. Don't get me wrong its hard, its hard to be a member of this church , it's not "cool" to do these things. But I've found so much joy in it. More joy than any song or movie I've watched or heard. Anyway I hope you all liked conference. It was good. It's almost too much to take in as my dad put it.
Yeah so the rest of the week was good. Love u all and miss u tons :)
