Our District Almost Died! April 21, 2019
SO this week was pretty good, its hot as freak and everyone in the Philippines is running for some political position. I see a new face being hung up everyday running for Councillor, congressman, mayor or whatever, maybe ill put my own face up - "Elder Garry for Mayor" lol
Anyway though Happy Easter!! Easter was pretty good, pretty ironic that we had like the least amount of people ever at our branch this week on Easter Sunday. I gave a talk on Resurrection, a few points from it:
- We are so lucky to have the gift of resurrection for each of us- No matter what happens to our bodies and spirits will reunite once again after death- Through the atonement of Jesus Christ this is possible
So blessed this Easter to be thinking of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and all that he has done for us, sometimes we forget the importance of this time of year. I know He lives.
This week we had this thing called district attack which is when our whole district goes to one of our areas that is struggling and we all work there for a day. So on the way we all took a trike to get there. 4 missionaries inside and me and my comp on the back. We start ripping and go down this hill, my branch president is the one driving us and he starts losing control and we go off the road and can't stop I straight up jump off the trike and try to stop it. Luckily there was this small tree that stopped us, because there was this big drop that we almost went down. We probably would've all been in the hospital ;( Luckily no one was hurt, my branch president hurt his foot pretty bad trying to stop the trike. Anyway though here are some pics love u all and hope you all had a good easter!
