Casting out Spirits

Whats up everyone.

So this week was decent, we were pretty busy because we had to do choir practice a couple times this week. And got straight punted by most of the people here. But we happened to some good lessons with our solid people so that was good. It's about quality not quantity. It didn't really rain either this week which was nice, but I think we are close to rainy season.

We were walking to the big mall on wed to go pay our bill and we ran into this guy cause he yelled out "elders!" we talked to him and told him I'm from Calgary Canada, and then he told me his trainee was from Calgary, when he served in the Baguio Mission back in the day. I asked him what his name was, and he told me it was Kipp Craig! My stake president. He couldn't believe it and then we chatted and took a picture. Small world he said lol.

So yeah then on Thursday night at like 9 pm on our way home from this less active member and she told us to come to their house right now. She told us her grand kids were taking pictures and they took a picture of this dark ghost in the attic and another picture of the same ghost in the bedroom. We went to their house the next morning and it turns our they really did have the pictures of this ghost. It was like this dark figure, kinda looked like a woman a little but super creepy. Kinda believable. Anyway we went up to the attic and had a blessing on the home. Had a quick lesson on the priesthood and then they gave us some snacks and we left haha. I told them to send the pictures to my email, but they haven't yet :/

Had a really good zone conference on repentance and they are now getting a lot more strict with the baptismal interviews. The less active rate is crazy high here in the Philippines. But we have had some special experiences with some people we have been teaching. Some are progressing a lot and its awesome to see.

Love you all,
Elder Garry
