June 10, 2019 Hey everyone whats up> So this week was alright, I had a cold all week but we still got out and grinded, yeah we out here grinding/ All I do is grind Lol ye but for real the week was solid, we finally had an investigator come to church!!! That was the highlight of the week. She has been and investigator for over a year and has been taught by the missionaries for a long time. Her name is Connie Sanchez and is like late 50s maybe. Super religious but  goes to a different church and has been so attached to that. But we taught her lots from the Book of Mormon and she told us she believes it is true. She told us that everyone had stopped attending her church and she was sick of her pastors. So she finally agreed to come out to church and the relief society really jumped on her quick it was awesome! So we hope that she can find the truth and feel really welcomed in the ward.  The rest of the week was alright, taught lots of lessons had a FHE with the ...

Past Two Weeks :)

I forgot to send this email last week but here it is:  Hey everyone! This week was awesome. Our zone is so dope, we just got another Australian Elder so I think 80% of the zone is foreigners. Its getting rainy in Baguio but it gets colder throughout the day so its really nice. This week we had tons of lessons with new people we have met. I was kinda thinking how weird missionary work is. Just like we come to this country and learn their language and teach them about Jesus Christ and how much he loves us. We get to know lots of people and they tell us what they're going through. Even though their culture is a lot different there are a lot of similarities between people.  One guy we were teaching named Harvey is going through some stuff and how his kid had died just last year from some heart disease, so he's been going through some stuff, and he can't find enough evidence in the scriptures that there are many blessings that we will receive if we follow Jesus and h...
