Hey everyone! This week was good. Nothing really interested. Met the new pres at conference we had in bags. It was good, he's a solid guy. Spirit was really strong.  Investigators are doing ok, the Philippines is a little annoying, most people that let us in just allow us in because they wanna hear the word of God. Its' a little hard from them to understand that our message is a little different. But don't get me wrong I'm super grateful that people give us time to share. I know other missions are so hard just to find a person that is willing to listen for 5 minutes. So really thankful for that. But yeah just gotta keep working. The mission is really fun, a lot of friendships made with other missionaries and people here. It just gives you a whole new perspective on life. Seeing pics at home makes me a little homesick, but when it comes down to it, I'm really glad I'm out here.Feel like I'm out here for the right reasons and everything. Even when thi...

Not much to report this week. We taught a lot of people.Had a lot of returned appointments. Idk what it is but we always get to the Book of Mormon lesson and then people start punting us. It's usually after 2 or 3 visits. But it's alright we won't give up on them.  Baguio is still sick I love it here. When you got to town it's so asian here. I love it though. Also love the pinos and pinas :) Coolest thing are the jeepneys. The designs they have on them are so cool sometimes. Sorry i sound like i just got here. But i just appreciate this place a lot.  This week we had some cool experiences with less actives. This one member who hasn't been to church since 1996 that we have been visiting finally came to church this week. Sometimes thats just your role, sometimes you're there to plant, harvest and bring people back. This area has been a lot of planting and  bringing people back (trying to). Whats up everyone. So this week was alright. We started out the week by helping this university with some English test. So we had a script that we had to record in the studio. Pretty fun actually. Even though the people that we helped weren't members and weren't super interested in our message it was nice to help some people out. They gave us some toilet paper and some cookies and creme milk for a gift at the end.   So my comp got sick this week with the flu, it was pretty bad so we had to stay in the apartment for 2 days. Pretty boring. We read a lot and watched some church movies. We got out on Friday and my comp started feeling worse. He didn't work on Saturday so I worked with my DL because his comp was sick too. That was fun, Elder Sifuenetes is the goat., learned a lot from that guy. We had some people come to church, just 1 actually, but that got us excited. He's pretty inconsistent but I know he'll be a member soon. He's got a lot of potential.  ...

Hey everyone!  So these past few weeks have been pretty good. Can't complain too much. I've learned how to cook some Filipino dishes from my housemates so I was jacked on that. Cooking is really fun. Favourite food rn called Monggo. Idk if we have them back at home but its really good and I finally learned how to cook it. Pretty jazzed on that Anyway though sounds like its nice back at home and summer has finally started. It'll probs go by really fast. I'm excited to hear about all the things going on back at home.  I can't really think of too much to say and I don't want to just go off about the people we are teaching. But i can say we had some good lessons these past two weeks. It's just really hard for people to make it out to church. It doesn't help that its at 8 am and not very many people have cars here.  I had some good spiritual experiences lately.
