9 Months - June 30, 2019

Whats up everyone. So this week was alright. We started out the week by helping this university with some English test. So we had a script that we had to record in the studio. Pretty fun actually. Even though the people that we helped weren't members and weren't super interested in our message it was nice to help some people out. They gave us some toilet paper and some cookies and creme milk for a gift at the end.  

So my comp got sick this week with the flu, it was pretty bad so we had to stay in the apartment for 2 days. Pretty boring. We read a lot and watched some church movies. We got out on Friday and my comp started feeling worse. He didn't work on Saturday so I worked with my DL because his comp was sick too. That was fun, Elder Sifuenetes is the goat., learned a lot from that guy.

We had some people come to church, just 1 actually, but that got us excited. He's pretty inconsistent but I know he'll be a member soon. He's got a lot of potential. 

So i gotta go to the dentist rn, got a huge cavity now, I think its because I got some filling at this dentist in my first area, and she did it so quick and it was cheap so i'm guessing she wasn't the best dentist around. 

Hit 9 months this week, pretty cool. It goes by fast. 

Said bye to President Bangal this week, gonna miss that guy, he's hilarious. But excited for the changes that the new mission President has to bring. :p

Hey everyone! This was a solid week for me and Elder Fillo! We started this week out doing exchanges with our district leader and it was a great day. We had a fun time biking to the far areas and meeting some interesting people. One girl we met had a bunch of "text mates" we watched her facetime them and their all in Pakistan and India hahah one guy was like 50 and driving some weird bike in India and she was talking to him for some reason. None of my business I guess. We taught her the restoration and she found it interesting that we would come so far to just share a message with no salary./ hahah I understood why she thought it was weird. Then Wednesday we had some more exchanges with my guy Elder McAllister. His personality reminds me of Carson. A really good guy. New Area!

Hey everyone! So I got transferred out of Baguio finally :( Super sad to leave that area because I was there for almost 6 months. But I expected to be transferred. So now I went down to the lowlands. To Bauang which is the next zone over from my first zone in Agoo. Just north of it.  But before I left I had the chance of watching Anthony Fajardo get baptized. We had met Anthony on the street in July and he had a bunch of questions about God and Heavenly Father and after teaching him for 1 month, he came to church and accepted to be baptized. And the Sunday before I left he got baptized. It was one of the best days on my mission. Watching Anthony get up to bear his testimony that He knows that Jesus Christ lives and that God has restored his church through a prophet was the best thing in the world. No time, no pics

Got like no time to talk about this week, but it was solid. Went on Exchanges, on Wednesday with Elder Cluff from Utah. It was something, just two white guys that don't know Tagalog trying to talk to people. It tested me so that was good. I really need to prepare myself for when I have to lead an area.  One time this week we were teaching this fam and the fam has tons of kids and in the middle of our lesson, all the kids got naked and were bathing with a bucket and scoop beside the pump. There was probs like 15 kids running around naked. SO it was pretty distracting. Hahaha made me think "where the heck am I right now", anyways Christmas time here is crazy, theres this huge Fiesta in Sison and it felt like a Filipino stampede haha. It was sweet though they have rides and food and tons of things to buy.
