Tonsilitis

Hey everyone! So this week was great, besides a couple things. We are slowly trying to figure out a schedule for our area. It has been great. It's awesome to be back in the lowlands, where the people yell at you from inside their wooden house "BROTHER!! SHOT TAYO BROTHER!!!" just like my first area.
It was a lot different in Baguio, I mean, people drank too, but here it seems almost everyone that is over the age of 20 is drinking by 6pm. HAHA

So my throat has been killing for the past week and then on Thursday I woke up and it was hurting so much and I looked in the mirror, couldn't see my uvula. SO i knew something was wrong. I called the mission nurse and I realized I couldn't speak normally. I sounded so weird hahaha, I wish I got a video.
SO the nurse told me I probably had tonsillitis and that I needed to go to the doctor. But zone conference was that day and I didn't want to miss it. So the other missionaries were laughing at my voice all day haha. Waited forever at the doctor and then got some antibiotics. Everything i all good now, I can finally eat.

The rest of the week was fun, we have teaching some people, we are right on the ocean so a lot of people are fishermen. Cool job for sure. I would love to go fishing with them one day but ...

Zone conference was awesome, we talked about faith. We are all scared, we are all living in a world where we can't see everything clearly. So we need to act in faith. Ether 12:6 is one of my favourites and has been my entire mission.

Love you all, I hope everyone enjoyed halloween. I know I did waiting at the hospital to get my throat checked :)
