Borge - Nov 25, 2019
Borge is the name of our investigator that we first met when we got into Bauang. He is progressing a lot now, and received an answer to his question this week. It has been such an amazing blessing to see him grow. We went over Alma chapter 5 and talked about how we need to be spiritually born of God in this life. We talked about the time when we first met Borge, he was searching for a different church to join. And now he thinks he has found the truth.
I think about myself too, because the scriptures apply to all of us, and I am always asking myself if I have been born of God. Because one thing I have learned here is that our faith we have won't save us, but it is the constant effort to be converted, to change, to grow, to be better than we were yesterday. I love the saying "2 steps forward 1 step back" because even when we make mistakes again, as long as we are trying, and working on ways to improve ourselves.
Bauang has been good though, we've met lots of great people. My apartment is pretty rough we get a lot of bugs. Reminds me of my first apartment, i would get bitten during the night and would scratch my feet until the layer of skin would come off. Still got some scars from that. But this time I set up a sick fan device right on my bedside so the bugs can't get me lol;
