Hello!! It's been a crazy time here in the Philippines, and it still doesn't feel like this is real. I'm slowly adjusting to this weird lifestyle haha. So on Tuesday before we left, we had our last day at the MTC so I said bye to the Provo homies in my district, pretty sad. Anyway they served Balot in the cafeteria and at first I didn't want to try it, and then eventually I tried one and it really wasn't that bad. All the Filipinos get so hype when a white person was trying it. I then had a second one idk why?? Just avoided the beak. That night I woke up at like 2 feeling super sick, and then I went to the bathroom and threw up. It was a terrible night and I was worried because we had to wake up at 4:30 to leave for San Fernando which was a 5 hour bus ride. Hey! So on Monday we left for the Philippines and had a long journey of travelling to get here. We had a long wait time in LAX but it was nice to eat some fast food. Going to miss the cold and Provo MTC and all the good times I spent there. We then had our long flight to Manila and that was okay cause I slept for lots of it.  We got picked up by a shuttle van to take us to the Philippines MTC. The drive was wild, the cops carry around these big shotguns and they drive so crazy here, so much traffic, and motorcycles everywhere. The Billboards are really weird too, every person on it is like a really white Filipino. The city is just insane and there are people walking around everywhere. I feel like everyone is so close to crashing into each other as well. So entertaining.  The MTC is super nice, right across from the temple. Everything is so green and colourful here too. It's really hot, even at night. I still can't believe I'll be living here ...

Hey!! This was my last week in the Provo MTC and I head to the Philippines Monday the 12th. I fly through LAX and then its a fourteen and a half hour flight to Manila. I'm so excited to eat some food at the airport. I'm not sure what I'll do on the plane for 14 hours but Elder Cooper told me he could hook me up with one of his sleeping pills, so that sounds good to me. I'm nervous but also excited to go.  The MTC was so good to me. I was blessed with the best district and companions. It will be bittersweet to leave Monday but so excited to get the real adventure going. I know in 2 months I'm going to be sitting in the middle of the peens with my trainer and I'll be looking back at the good times in the MTC. Some of my friends have said enjoy the three meals while you can and have fun. So I was really enjoying it this week. Hello everyone.  This week was very good. So I got put into a trio for the last 2 weeks of my time here at the MTC since Elder Tomlin got reassigned to Atlanta. Gonna miss that guy. He has the best jokes and makes everyone feel good about themselves. But being in a trio is super dope. Elder Cooper has joined us so that's awesome. I get a long with him really well. He is a lot better at Tagalog so he has been helping us out a lot.  Anyway Happy Halloween, sad to miss my favourite time of year but its alright. We spent the night putting on a show for our zone. Elder Miller from my district bought a dress from the MTC store somehow and put it on Halloween night. It was hilarious.  Me and him put on a little show for the district. It was super stupid but hilarious.
